St. Anne’s Belfield School

Learning Village

Charlottesville, Virginia

Project Specifications

  • Size: 105,000 Square Feet

  • Budget: $30 Million

  • Completion: 2010

Lineage was part of a team of architects, engineers, and designers, led by Bowie Gridley Architects, to create a new space for the lower and middle school. The structural engineers originally hired for the team did not have any experience with insulated concrete form wall systems. Lineage was hired to provide structural engineering services for the insulated concrete form wall system alone, developing a separate set of structural documents for the ICF. The Learning Village was LEED Gold Certified.
